Best color temperature for white quartz countertops?

Started by Marcus H. · Oct 22, 2026 · 2 replies

Just installed two Glowline bars under maple cabinets over white quartz. 2700K looks beautiful at night but a bit yellow against the stone during the day. Anyone settled on a setting they keep?

Most quartz with a cool grey vein reads best at 4000K during the day and 2700K after 8 p.m. Try 4000K for a week — it is the closest to how the slab looked in the showroom.

Same setup, and I landed on 4000K. The 2700K is lovely for dinner but makes the counter look cream.
