About this piece
Most pantry jars fail at the lid. Ours use a two-ring silicone gasket seated in a bamboo cap, which holds a seal through repeated opening far longer than a single O-ring.
The bodies are borosilicate glass — thermal-shock resistant, so a jar can go from a cool shelf to a warm dishwasher without cracking. Four sizes cover the staples: 500 ml for spices and seeds, 750 ml for coffee, 1 L for pasta, 1.4 L for flour and rice.
Bamboo lids should be wiped dry rather than soaked; the glass bodies are dishwasher safe on the top rack.
