The detail
About this piece
A basket that slumps is worse than no basket. We bond a stiff recycled-fibre core between two layers of woven linen, so the walls stand up empty and still fold flat for storage.
The set nests for shipping and separates for use: a large 45 L basket for throws and laundry, a medium 22 L one for shelves and entryways. Leather handles are riveted, not stitched, so they do not pull out under load.
Spot clean with a damp cloth. The linen softens with age instead of pilling.
